Wand, image, isolate
Objectives...After being shown how to clone with the Magic Wand, the student will create their own clone. Method...#1 Take isolated image on white background. Use magic wand to go around the whole image on the white. Go to Select and invert. Go to edit and copy. Open second new paper. #2 Paint a background. Save as. Paste first image into second image. Use the Control bar and choice options..check gel, luminous, etc. Change the opacity until you get the effect you want. Sign your name. Save to disk or special folder. #3 Materials...Paint 4 or 5. Computer, disk. Time allowed...15 minute time sections done with timer. Rotate students on the computers. Finished projects may take several days. Evaluation...Did the student understand the process? Was the project successful? Other resources...samples on board. Other project possibilities...Use image and try beveled edge #4 or burnt edge #5. You can also add applied texture. |
