How to do a Cross stitch
For the 1st grade sampler
and 2nd grade pillow, draw the "X's" first with marker.
Teach them how to thread
the needle and
then put a knot at the end
of the yarn.
Have them start from the
back and end on the back.
Have them do one side
of the "x" first with one color.
Then have them do the other
side with a second color.
